How many youths remains a virgin before marriage?

Today, so many girls are talking about safe sex. Is it wrong to be a Virgin? No! There is noting wrong with being a virgin!

In the olden days, virginity was seen as a badge of honor. But in our current world, such honor is no more valued. Today, many youths consider it as abnormal to be a Virgin. What really makes it abnormal to be a virgin? A big question for young boys and girls.

Why is it hard for youths of today to stay without having sex? Not withstanding the widespread of sexually transmitted disease and teenage pregnancy, Youths of today still engage in indiscriminate sex.

Who do we blame? With the current rate of sex-oriented advertisements on the media, it will be quite difficult for youths to stay without giving the idea of having sexual intercourse a second taught.

This not withstanding, the widespread premarital sex among youths can equally have some cultural and economic forces; especially in developing countries. In some culture, it is erroneously believed that if a young man doesn’t have sex, his body will be weakened. On the other hand, it is also believed that if a girl does not know life until she has had sex with a boy.

Millions of youths now believe that it is abnormal to be a virgin. Virgins have thus become an endangered species among youths. Is there really benefit of engaging in premarital sex? Definitely no! Premarital sex only gives rise to epidemic of teen pregnancies, some of which are terminated by induced or spontaneous abortions.

Medically, there is no harm in remaining a virgin. Your virginity is the only gift you can give to your marriage partner – be you a boy or a girl.
